The Canon Powershot A2200 has a 4x wide (comparable to 28mm) wide zoom, great for household and group images, or to capture a gorgeous beach or exotic sunset. At 14.1 megapixels it delivers sharp, crisp, exceptional images and with the flick of a switch, it tapes HD video.

It has a wonderful feature which I truly enjoy. You can switch off the noise, flash and AF Beam in peaceful locations. Great for when you're snapping away at a wedding and don't want to disturb anyone.

I mentioned prior to about taking the Canon Powershot A2200 to the beach. One feature I cannot live without is the macro mode. It permits me to get truly close up and get stunning images of the little details, like seashells, crabs, the intricate beauty of the sandy beaches, etc. No need to even look through the viewfinder when getting close. Just look at the large, simple to see LCD display.

It isn't perfect ...

The Canon Powershot A2200 isn't without faults. I suspect for the wonderful low price that it's available for, it can't have every little thing. If you want to connect it to your TV, the cord is sold individually. Not a big deal as it's very cheap, however you do need to bear in mind to obtain it. If you want fancy attributes like shooting panoramas, then this camera is not for you.

All in all, by far it has the very best attribute set of all the cameras in this cost variety. I went shopping around a lot and am very particular about images and functions in a camera and the Canon Powershot A2200 beat the competitors. Low cost, easy to use, wonderful features and simple to hold. Battery life is fantastic as it makes use of a Lithium-Ion battery.
