The fantastic network of travel in Britain make UK Breaks a great way of visiting many locations in one trip. The UK is comparatively small when compared with other major nations, therefore travel between cities and tourist locations is quick and easy.

The moderate climate of the country means that, although summers aren't as warm as much of Europe, the winters aren't as severe and getting around in all seasons is easy. This temperate climate makes trips in the UK enjoyable all year round.

During the Victorian times, the British coastal resorts like Blackpool and Brighton became hugely popular with people looking for entertainment and fresh sea air. The advent of air travel meant that these places suffered as people started to fly to warmer climates for a break. With people looking to save money, these towns are experiencing a surge in visitor numbers as they provide entertainment for everyone throughout the day.

The British countryside is awash with stunning views, activities and areas of historical importance. Much of these rural areas are protected by the government of the UK. This protection means that the natural beauty is preserved while the general public have free and unrestricted access to it.

There are a number of ancient cities in the UK to visit, as well as the larger industrial cities that grew up during the industrial revolution. Cities like York and Bath came to prominence during the Roman Empire's occupation of Britain. Many Roman artifacts, buildings and roads still exist to this day. The larger cities such as London also offer vibrant night-life and a range of fantastic theatres.

Hopping from one location to the other is a distinct advantage of UK breaks. It is often the case that groups of friends or family want something different from holidays. Owing to the size and compact nature of the UK, visiting multiple locations on one trip is simple and quick.
