It has never been simpler to spruce up a room without a great deal of fuss or expense. I have always cherished the look of wall murals. When I go to some restaurants and I see the walls painted with artwork or I see a kid's room in magazines with painted murals I always think I wish I could find the money to do that in my children's rooms.
I would love a tree with animals and flowers or a whole wall with Thomas the Train and his friends. I even called some artists that market in our local kid's magazine however the cost was just much more than I could afford.
These days you no longer have to sacrifice the room of your dreams due to the fact it is too expensive. You are able to get the look you would like for much less with wall decals and murals for just a fraction of the cost of painting. There are so many designs to choose from for both children and grown-ups.
I began experimenting in my own room to make certain it was simple and that it would look appropriate. The tree and cherry blossoms we put in to our decor look amazing. They add a new dimension to the room and also the great thing is if I decide to change my room they peel right off with out ruining the paint underneath.
Doing this with my daughter was so much fun. She decided on a different combination of stickers to develop an artistic style. She got Peace Sign Wall Stickers created by Roommates to match up her peace sign pillow cases and also the Large Daisy Peel & Stick for an extra pop of color.
She also wanted the Peace Dry Erase Wall Decal so she could make notes and keep herself organized. At 9 years of age she surely has her very own ideas about how her room should look. It was fun to look at her plan and create.
Naturally, the most effective part was to spend time with her when she selected her designs and then as we place them up together we saw her artwork come to life.
Considering that every set she selected was less than $30.00 we totally changed the appearance of her room, spent time together on an enjoyable task, and didn't break the bank in the process.
