The Academy Award winning legend, Gene Hackman has been picked to depict the part of the architect father Mike Brady. Paramount Studios did not agree to this, believing that Hackman was not recognized during that time and would never have performed on TV. He had been auditioning for Paramount Studios for three various shows and this has been his least favored.
