Hey, who doesn't like a party? Club Penguin players sure do with parties on the site scheduled nearly every month. Sometimes, especially during the summer, there are even two different parties and major events per month and all the servers get crowded with partying penguins. One of the most anticipated parties each year is the Club Penguin Medieval Party. It has a medieval theme, complete with knights, castles, princesses and more. Everything you'd expect is there and most of the different rooms in Club Penguin are completely decorated for the big event. The first Club Penguin Medieval Party was held in May, 2008 and then was repeated in 2009.

The very first Club Penguin Medieval Party happened between May 16 and May 25 in 2008. It quickly became one of the biggest, and most famous, parties in Club Penguin history. Almost all of the different rooms in Club Penguin were decorated with lots of special details. Some areas were turned into giant castles and some into deep dark underground dungeons. Of course, one of the most exciting parts of the event was the free item giveaway--something all Club Penguin parties have become very famous for. Two items were given out at this party, the blue wizard hat and the squire tunic.

Some Key Attractions at the 2008 Medival Party

Dragon There was a huge mechanical dragon inside the Mines. The switchbox 3000 machine was used to control the dragon which did all kinds of things including flapping its wings and breathing fire. A lot of penguins had fun standing right on the spot where the hot fire would rain down upon them.

The Magic Mirror Up on top of the ski hill mountain, penguins could use a magic mirror that worked kind of like the famous magic 8 ball where you could ask any question and it would give you an answer.

Special Costumes In the Gift Shop's catalog Penguin Style there was a dragon, knight and princess costume for member Penguins, medieval backgrounds and a note from the party committee about preparing for this party hidden behind the clothing catalog.

TreeTop Fort This special room only appeared during the Medieval Party. It was a place to hang out and enjoy the party. One fun feature was a hole in the tree where different Puffles would appear and make funny faces.

The 2009 Medieval Party

The 2009 edition of the Club Penguin Medieval Party was from May 8, 2009 through May 17, 2009. It featured many of the same events and activities as the original party and included a few more, including a special quest to obtain a golden suit of armor.
