Don't we all want a without charge service to sample it out before we can say, 'I will buy it"? Many times, when we pay for the theatre ticket we go thinking the motion picture is a blast and we pay for the movie. Just to find out that when we are there, we paid for the popcorn, the tickets and even the slurpee, it makes no sense. The film is a disappointment. It was a big error to pay to see such poor work.

Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Small town band hits it huge, in an attempt to link songs from The Beatles' classic album into some kind of a storyline. As to The Bee Gees performing capacity, well let's just proclaim that they are not the Beatles. Cast includes Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees, George Bums, Sandy Farina, and Steve Martin. (111 minutes,'78)

House Springs - Having just been cast off by his fiance Driver, British actor Firth heads to the U.S. and falls for Graham. Then, wouldn't you know it, Minnie shows up. There are great acting jobs from everyone, although not enough laughs for a romantic comedy. The film is based on the book New Cardiff by Charles Webb. Cast includes Colin Firth, Heather Graham, Minnie Driver, Mary Steenburgen, Oliver Platt, and. (92 minutes, 2003)

I Love You Alice B - Unparalleled comedy in reference to the panicking of gentle-behaved L.A. lawyer. Vendor has never been more superior. The film was written by Larry Tucker and Paul Mazursky. Cast Peter Vendors, Jo Minivan Fleet, Leigh Taylor-Young, and Joyce Van Patten. (93 minutes,'68)

Straight Time - Hoffman knocks heads with greasy parole officer Walsh following his release from penitentiary and begins a downhill skid. An immersing if not particularly differentiated melodrama that gets a authentic shot in the arm from fantastic acting by the supporting cast. Cast includes Dustin Hoffman, Theresa Russell, Harry Dean Stanton, Gary Busey, Emmet Walsh, and Rita Taggart. (114 minutes,'78)

No Man of Her Own - Ostentatious drama based on Cornell Woolrich storyline of Helen Ferguson (Stanwyck) assuming another's identity and becoming part of a fmaily. Later in the movie she is being blackmailed by her ex-boyfriend. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, John Lund, Jane Cowl, Phyllis Thaxter, and Richard Denning. (98 minutes,'50)
