Many smoke jumpers organizations have been formed aimed at saving the lives of people in case of accidental fires. These smoke jumpers are however different as the members use firefighter motorcycle club to deliver these services. The organizations are non-profit based, and only professional ladder men can be recruited. The associations are not in any way affiliated with each other hence they do not claim territory.

It is important for these associations to treat the others with esteem as they are all working for the community. They thus respect the traditions that each organization has. More so, it is not just anyone who can become part of the membership unless you know how to operate a scooter and you are retired or active. Also, one must be a professional smoke jumper for you to be recruited.

The mission that these brotherhoods have is to work together to promote their brotherhood and their professionalism. To add on that, they have to be willing to help their veterans and military troops if need be. A good number of the ladder men are also fighting men thus it becomes easy to work as well as raising money for the brotherhoods and the military as well.

If you want to be a member of one of these associations, you must be able to ride scoter and committed to the brotherhood and understand their goals, aims, and visions. You can either become an active participant. You may become a full time participant if you have retired from your old job. Also, you can choose to become either a volunteer or paid on call ladder man.

Besides ladder men, other employees are also hired in the organizations. For example, dispatchers are very important, and they must be ready and willing to work. Mechanics are recruited as well so that they can repair the scooters whenever they break down. Other low-scale workers are also essential to keep the association up and to run.

Saving the lives of the people is the main aim of these brotherhoods. They also protect the properties of the people. More so, the organizations also do a lot of charity work aimed at serving the people in the communities they live in. Therefore, any new member must be willing and ready to do the work any time they are called and be very active or else they will be replaced.

In the event you want to join one of the brotherhoods, one must be trained and be licensed to operate a mini bike. To add on that, you also have to attend training to become a ladder man before you apply for the job. Once you are done, you can ask, and if you are approved, the brotherhood can recruit you when you start working.

This work needs one to know that it is a calling thus it needs one to be committed. You cannot do to get paid only. The brotherhoods make sure that any new member is willing to work even after hours when the need arises because it is a mission dedicated to saving lives as well as extending charity to the disadvantaged.
