Through the ages there have been many great people who's words are as memorable now, as they were back then; many Disney quotes rank high amongst these words of wisdom.

Off the top of your head you are probably able to quote a number of Disney films, and for some of them you would even be able to quotes lines from various characters. Would is be surprising to you to think that lots of those Disney quotes are as valid today, as they were when they were spoken?

Of course there is the Disney quotes like; "How could I have been so stupid?" This could easily ruin the business!" from the movie Monsters Inc. this is not a good example of Disney quotes that is appropriate give the condition of the economy in the late 2000's. Whereas from Finding Nemo, "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming; are you my conscience?" seems extremely appropriate today, because, what do we do? We swim, swim, and we swim.

Most people would agree that Walt Disney was a person way ahead of most of his contemporaries. The futuristic ideas coupled with his obvious understanding about the nature of people, all evident in the amazing theme parks he created. A vast nuber of Walt Disney quotes show how insightful the man was.

While he didn't actually write the movie classics coming out of the Disney studios, anyone who has read the original versions of the stories will know that they have been substantially altered; many of the classic movie lines being absent from the original short stories, and it's clear that many of these great Disney quotes wouldn't have been in there if he hadn't approved of them, and what they stood for.

Anyone old enough or lucky enough to have actually seen the weekly shows where Walt Disney would introduce the stories himself, would know that there are many Disney quotes that are unfortunately not as widely known as the ones in the movies. These Disney quotes are equally important in todays environment.

So, in the future, when you're laughing at the circumstances that poor old Donald Duck finds himself in, not always of his own making; you're listening to the wise words of Merlin in 'The Sword and the Stone'; or you're just trying to work out whether Goofy is right when he sings 'the world owes me a living...'; listen more closely to some of the more famous Walt Disney quotes, and see whether there's anything in them that applies to your own life.

So, to quote a wise old bear 'When you go after honey with a balloon, the great thing is not to let the bees know you're coming.' I know, I'm not too sure how that applies to this article, at the moment, but it'll come.
