Can you sing already and even get compliments about your singing? Hold a tune quite well? Or are you a complete novice and not even sure if you're singing on key most of the time? Whatever category you fit into, you can benefit from learning how to sing - lessons are your first step!
I had been singing public (church) for over 10 years before I finally got lessons. I thought that because I wasn't trying to become famous or anything, then I didn't need lessons. I fit into the category where I have a natural ability for singing, but didn't realize how much I was limiting myself by not learning to sing properly with lessons.
At the first singing lesson that I ever went to, I was surprised when I found out the lesson was going to be on 'how to breathe'. After practicing correct breathing technique I realized that this foundational principle was what had limited me so much in the past. Now that I had learnt this lesson I was able to use this as the basis for more and more improvements in my singing.
Even though I loved the lessons, and was being taught by a fantastic singer herself. I came to a situation in my life where I was no longer able to afford the lessons. By this time though, I had grasped just how important it was for me to continue lessons if I was going to keep improving. That's when I started to look online to see if there was a more affordable alternative for me.
And I struck gold! Well I think it's gold anyway. There are loads of singing courses that you can do online and many of them are truly very good. But if I had to decide which one I would recommend, then it would have to be Singorama. When you want to learn to sing, lessons in their course are the way to go. In my opinion.
