The time required to do charka meditation is generally more than other meditation methods. It may take up to 2 hours for a total workout on all 7 chakras. The seven chakras in our body are located from head to toe and they are as following;

For your stability, balance and safety is the root chakra which positioned at the base of the spine. Located at the lower abdomen is the sacral chakra which is located for enthusiasm, sexuality and psychic abilities and abilities for higher consciousness. This chakra is of orange color. For our will power and impulse actions is the solar plexus chakra which is positioned just under the chest. Color of this chakra is yellow.

Heart chakra is green in color and is the center for unconditional love and compassion. It is situated in the chest. For our abilities to communicate and the ability to express ourselves verbally is the throat chakra which is sky blue in color and is positioned below the head on the throat. As a window to the world of spirituality, is the third Eye chakra which possesses the ability to look beyond the physical world. This chakra is positioned on the forehead and its color is indigo. Direct channel to higher consciousness is the crown chakra which is violet in color and it is located on top of the head.

There are two approaches that can be followed fro chakra meditation. Balancing of the body with chakra spots can be done or the colors can be seen as linked with chakra spots. Start the chakra meditation by thinking of a red ball expanding in size as well as strength when you breathe in and out.

For chakra meditation two types of approaches can be followed. Either you can see the colors linked with chakra spots or imagine your energy being balanced in the chakra spots in your body. Chakra meditation can be started by imagining a red ball expanding in strength and size when you breathe in and out.

If your focus is on the color of the chakra, your speed of coming out of it must be slowed down. However do not forget that brightness of the color should remain the same. Allow your body to come to this conscious world slowly once your chakra meditation is complete.

You will not only gain your confidence back but also peace of mind with chakra meditation. Keep your focus on the colors of the chakra with chakra meditation. This meditation should be followed in an environment which is calm and it will help you to open your closed chakras.

You will not only open your closed chakras but eventually learn to embrace the world and feel protected. The seven chakras are linked with dissimilar personality and skills. If any one chakra is closed, there shall be disharmony and imbalance in the chakras. So go ahead and regain the lost confidence back and your peace of mind with chakra meditation.
