Chick flicks can appeal to both men and women yet some people hate them. However, the great thing about the movie entertainment business is that there is always something for everyone. They Only Kill Their Masters hit the screens in 1972. Remarkable group of actors in difficult modem-night whodunit set in coastal California town; tries for Daniel Hammett sensation, does not relatively make it. Policeman Garner tries to unravel slaughter of pregnant female, with formidable Doberman pinscher figuring significantly. Not poor, but a disappointment. Cast includes James Garner, Katharine Ross, Hal Holbrook, Harry Guardino, June Allyson, Peter Lawford, and Ann Rutherford.

The In Laws from 1964. Everybody can relate to this uneasy situation. The in laws are coming and you just have to survive. Do not try this at home! Unrated version runs 93. Cast includes Peter Falk, Alan Arkin, Richard Libertini, and Nancy Dussault.

Holiday came out 1938. First interpretation of Philip Barry's play in reference to non-conformity is a pleasant movie. Johnny Case finds himself engaged to a millionaire's daughter and he must choose between a career in big business or living life as a holiday. 1938 version includes Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant among others.

The Believer is a brutal appraisal of a young Jewish man in N.Y.C. who decides to become a neo-Nazi skinhead. He struggles with the conflict between his thinking and his heritage. Gosling gives a outstanding performance as the young Jewish man which is loosely based on a true story. Cast includes Ryan Gosling, Summer Phoenix, Billy Zane, Theresa Russell, Glenn Fitzgerald and Ronald Guttman. (98 minutes, 2002)

Adios Amigo came out in 1975. Unusual western comedy, written, produced, and directed by Williamson, who as well plays a part in the movie along with con guy Pryor. There is no sex or violence in this benign film, but it just does not exactly work. Cast includes Fred Williamson, Richard Pryor, Thalmus Rasulala, James Brown, and Robert Phillips. Directed by Fred Williams.

The Sinister Urge from 1960. Committed cops Duncan and Moore set out to beat the "smut film racket," which is run by a flashy blonde. Illustrates with total assurance how photographs of chubby ladies clad in merely their underwear can be a major cause of adolescent wrongdoing. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson.

In 1999 Doug's First Movie from the megastar of TV's Doug is characterized in this bland, mechanical story, made exclusively for kids. Easy going preteen Doug attempts to show mercy to an animal in need collide with his aspiration to take his lady friend to the school dance. This movie was released as a direct-to-video production. Voices of Thomas McHugh, Fred Newman, Chris Phillips, Constance Shulman, Doug Preis, and Alice Playten.
