Movie was redone as "The Present of Love" and for a 1984 Television film. Cast includes John Payne, Maureen O'Hara, William Bendix, Cedric Hardwicke, Glenn Langan, Mischa Auer, and Connie Marshall. From the earth to The Moon: Jules Verne's fiction doesn't hover well in contrived sci-fi of early rocket flight to the moon. The cast looks mostly agitated. Cast includes Joseph Cotten, George Sanders, Debra Paget, Don Dubbins, Patric Knowles, and Henry Daniel. (100 minutes, 1958)

The Jackie Robinson Story: Simple bio of Robinson, the first black man to play Major League Baseball. Captivating as a historical story; pointed in its presentation of the racial issues engaged. Interestingly, Robinson's Negro League ball club is named the Black Panthers! Dee plays Robinson's spouse. The movie is depicted by Brock Peters. Cast includes Jackie Robinson, Red Dee, Little Watson, Louise Beavers, Richard Aisle, Harry Shannon, Ben Lessy, and Joel Fuellen. (76 minutes, 1950)

Pearl Harbor: This epic movie looks at the devastation of that eventful day, December 7, 1941 when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. This story follows the incredible courage of a nurse and two daring pilots, who bravely move forward, all the time trying to deal with the overwhelming catastrophe before them.

Do The Right Thing: This is a Spike Lee Directed film. On a hot summer day in a Brooklyn neighborhood, things are heating up. With various people from different races and cultures, all struggling with their own, or each other's problems, things have reached a boiling point. The crescendo of which is a racially motivated outbreak of violence.

I Want to Go Home: Lyrical author-actor Green plays a compulsive American cartoonist who voyages to Paris for an art show and to see his alienated daughter Benson. Depardieu, an exuberant admirer, brings him to his mom's country home for the weekend. Written by Jules Feiffer, with a score by John Kander, this Franco-American curio is appallingly poor. Cast includes Adolph Green, Gerard Depardieu, Linda Lavin, Laura Benson, Micheline Presle, and Ludivine Sagnier. (101 minutes, 1989)
