The Nintendo Switch has been out for a while now, and it's safe to say that it has gained ample attention by gamers and the general audience alike. With the console's hybrid of home and portable console elements, it's easy to see why the Switch has become such a huge talking points. With that said, there are many facts about the console you may not be familiar with. Here are a few facts that online marketing companies can tell you about.

If you want to talk about the Nintendo Switch, you're going to want to talk about the physical media used. Instead of discs, which are used by the bigger developers, Nintendo has opted to use cartridges that are reminiscent of SD cards. Despite this drastic change, the Switch seems to still pack a punch with its variety of titles. One of the best examples, according to names like www.fishbat.com, is "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

Next, the Switch has been held in especially high regard because of its region-free nature. In other words, you're not limited to games that have only been released in your region. If you're a fan of importing titles, the Switch will be able to play what you've imported, granting you a level of freedom that hasn't been seen with Nintendo systems for quite some time. For many people, this was the biggest selling point of all.

Did you also know that the Switch can be played in three different modes? TV mode, for example, occurs when the Switch tablet is situated in its dock, projecting the image on the television. Tabletop mode, which is one of the portable options, uses the kickstand so that it can function as its own mini-TV. Handheld mode is reminiscent of the DS or Game Boy, so you can take it with you as you'd like. What this means is that you can play the Switch in any mode you deem to be most comfortable.

For those that haven't taken the plunge on the Switch yet, hopefully these details have swayed your opinion in the right direction. It's worth noting that you won't be short of content in the future. The likes of Mario and Zelda will always be present, but you have many other titles to enjoy as well. Splatoon and Xenoblade Chronicles have their spots in the Switch's library as well. In basic terms, the Switch is a platform to keep your eyes on.
