People are bound to have different opinions when it comes to booking wedding entertainment for the big day. When this sort of occasion is organised, a lot of time and effort has to go into working out which sort of entertainment is most suitable given the circumstances. Most people tend to choose between mobile DJs and wedding bands.

The good thing about mobile DJs is that the original versions of some great party tunes are certain to get played. You can submit a kind of brief to your DJ and let them know the tone you expect for the evening and they are experienced at arranging their own performance so that it fits the bill.

Just because mobile DJs put in the effort in this capacity does not mean that function bands cannot do the same. They are usually groups of very talented people whose back catalogues are very versatile. In the same manner as a mobile DJ, function bands can tailor their sets to meet your own personal preferences for the night.

Some bands for hire are much more specific about what they play and instead of limiting things this can make things even better. Tribute bands focus on covering a single band or artist so if you are keen on one band above all you should look for bands that cover them.

This is a good way of adding a very personal finishing touch to the whole question of wedding music. Creating the perfect marriage between what is personal to the bride and groom and what helps the guests enjoy themselves is what wedding music is all about.

One really fun approach to the evening is to try and get the best of everything by booking both a DJ and a suitable band. This way your band can get everyone in the mood to party and your DJ can finish the night with some classic party tunes.
