Lets say you get 5 Kingslayers (assuming they weren't fed) and chain queued - you are able to expect 300k XP/H in the event you constantly cruise through dungeons at a face pace. Now with rested experience that 300k turns into 600k and makes dungeon leveling a whole lot better but it's still not the fastest method to level in Cataclysm.
As you can probably tell by now, smart questing holds the most XP/H with results anywhere from 500k to 750k XP/H un-rested. Rest does not benefit quests all that much. Hence why we say if you have rest, use a combination of questing and dungeon leveling, as this is the fastest way to level in Cataclysm. Queue a dungeon while you quest and once it "pops" run the dungeon.
Lastly, we wanted to cover what we meant by smart questing. Questing on it's own, even with experienced players is not all that fast. Unless you are part of Blizzard staff and know each quest inside out, you've probably run into a few quests that just eat up a ton of time. The best method to gain that 500-750k XP/H is to invest in a leveling addon (no not Questhelper or Carbonite).
