One of the hottest ideas to assure a great time at your wedding, is to hire a magician. There are some factors to consider before hiring one. Hopefully, this information will assist you in determining which wedding magician to employ for your special day. For many, the last time you saw a live magician was likely at a birthday party when you were a child. Magic is no longer strictly for children. To see a true professional at work is a great treat and will entertain the guests more than you might imagine. Although you may think they are doing tricks, a good magician can create the same mystique that you remember for those childhood days.

Part of the challenge at a wedding is keeping everyone involved. There are times when not all guests are included in the festivities, so having a magician can be important in keeping the flow, when these times occur. With solid planning, your guests will never be neglected and will surely be entertained. The key is finding the right one.

Why a magician? Believe it or not, someone who specializes in weddings will be like having an extra wedding planner! These professionals know how to control a room. When people are being dragged off for pictures, many are left with nothing to do. A person walking from table to table, will help keep them entertained and more under control. Doing slight of hand magic is fun to watch and mystifying to the participants. Performing card tricks and other illusions will baffle the crowd and give them something very cool to remember. Most of the attendees, likely have not seen a live magician since they were children.

Well, magic is no longer just for kids. Some of the illusions your magician will create will be outstanding. It is likely they will be using some of your guests personal items, so be sure that they have public liability insurance. A law suit is really not the best way to start out your new life!

Magicians and alcohol induced viewers is not a good match. Many people, who would normally enjoy the entertainment, may think they are the next Houdini and create challenges for your magician. The timing for them to complete their performance should never exceed the end of the food or the beginning of the music. There is need for only one piece of entertainment at a time.

Your magician should finish up before any serious alcohol consumption takes place and before your band takes over. Too much alcohol makes it tough on any professional as the guests think they are Houdini and can outwit them. Your wedding magician is really not interested in competing with your guests, so choose the times of their involvement carefully.

Be sure to be specific as to when they are working. Before, during and right after the food are the best times. Once any alcohol is being overly consumed, he/she needs to be done. Alcohol makes people think they know how every trick is being done and the other guests and the professional really are not interested in this type of interaction. They should always be finished before the band kicks in. There is only room for one piece of entertainment at a time. Confusion is not a good thing!

Having a wedding magician is a really nice touch. The demand is really just starting to grow, so you may be the first new happy couples to offer this kind of entertainment and your guests will be thrilled at your creativity. Your professional will supply a unique brand of fun and your day will be the talk of the town.
