The Day the Earth Stood Still: Landmark chemistry-fiction tirade in regards to dignified foreign Rennie who comes to the planet to transfer anti-atomic warming, stays to comprehend that his tranquil views are shared by most humans. Brilliantly performed, and more well-timed than ever, the trenchant script by Edmund North, is a moody score by Bernard Herrmann.
