Printing a custom t-shirt goes far beyond deciding what color to purchase. It starts with the design and then follows a logical process leading up to a place where it ends up across someone s chest. The most grueling of these processes, however, is deciding on which method one should use to print. Each one has its perks and its downfalls and a few decisions need to be taken about t shirt transfers designs.

The very first of these ways use through the use of a method called screen printing. This method is used for a number of reasons. The first is that it s quite inexpensive, due to the manner in which the items are printed being so simple. And it should it be since the method is relatively old compared to the others as it dates back to the 20th century.

Another advantage of this specific method of printing is that due to the factor of it being inexpensive, it makes it quite easy to print more and more items of clothing specific to demand. Not only does this save one money overall but it reduces the number of resources being resources.

But in exchange for all those savings, there is a catch. For one, it is a very old method of printing and as such, so is the turnaround time for a completed product. This time is made even longer with the use of more than two colors and lastly, in this modern day and age, doesn t do well with high-quality images.

But because the method is so old, it s not perfect and is susceptible to some faults, mainly, that depending on what is being printed on the t-shirt. For example, screen printing is very limited when one considers and factors in the aspects of resolution. If one is seeking to print images or prints in high resolution, this method is definitely the wrong one to use.

Lastly, a printing method suited for the digital age in which we live in. Introducing the CAD cut vinyl printing method. A printing method that incorporates the use of software in order to do its job. It s a great way of printing on t-shirts of different colors and textures, a limitation that other printing methods seem to have.

But the following method needs little or no room for error because it s a more restrictive printing method. Furthermore, there to be printed high start-up costs as one requires special cutters, heat press, and software in order to make it possible to do anything. These barriers to entry can be a turn off for some and to it being a niche product, per say.

All things considered, printing t-shirts using screen printing is great for a number of reasons, and the fact that it s an old method means that those who do it are most likely to know what they are doing when it comes to this sort of thing. But it s not a method without its faults and they need to be considered when deciding whether to print or not. If the Pros outweigh the cons than don t think twice, however, if one or more cons disturb you. Consider another method to print garments with.
