While there are a myriad of concerns regarding the erosion of privacy in our society, there is no doubt that we all enjoy the elevated technological advancements. As privacy is too quickly becoming a thing of the past, it is up to us to determine just how far we allow this trend to continue. We all have a natural awareness to being watched, but even that instinct has begun to fade. As a people we are simply becoming too accustomed to being viewed all the time, and this is a dangerous oversight in society.

In a city that boasts so many amusement parks and family vacation destinations, residents really do have to accept a lot of the cameras on the streets. This is an obvious means by which children can be kept safe in an environment that might attract pedophiles. However, everyone still has a duty to keep tabs on who is watching and what their purpose might be for doing so.
