Candid and spontaneous photographs taken in a session are infrequently the ones our clients love the most. We ask them to bring something personal that reflects who they may be at this time in there lives. For seniors it is most frequently some sports equipment a musical instrument. They also love bringing their pets. We've had everything form dogs and cats to snakes and horses. For junior youngsters it's usually a favorite toy that is near and dear to them.

Having some private items available in a photo session makes getting those candid's a straightforward process.

The simplest way to tell a tale about a senior that I've come up with is to get seniors actually concerned in the session. I'lI begin by having them show me what they brought and then have them let me know why it's crucial to them. It's amazing how fast they open up when they're talking about something that they love. When they are interacting with me this way, they are engaged and relaxed and some great candids and a fascinating story can be caught.

With the more youthful youngsters I like to put them on the set with their favourite toys and just let them play and have fun. I try to do very little directing and if their old enough, I just talk with them about the toys and what their doing with them. After one or two minutes they don't even know they're here to be snapped and a great story starts to appear.

Photographs are generally believed to be worth 1000 words. The most valuable thing that we all share on this earth is time. It's the only thing that we can give away and never get back. While we may only be on this earth for a set time, our portraits will live on for ever. Pictures are freeze frames of moments of time you can only get back through an image. Simply by picking up an old image you can unexpectedly emerge yourself into an ocean of emotion. Is capturing a minute in your life truly worthwhile? I believe the answer is quite obvious.

Senior pictures are instant history lessons that offer you a window to the past. Techniques of life can be explored in vivid detail with a picture and your imagination. We consistently use footage that past cultures created to learn about what they were like. Have you got a documented history of your life for generations yet to come?

Photographs have a singular way of capturing minute details. Video is nice , but hails compared to the detail you get with a straightforward photo.
