If you are looking for a fun film to take friends and family to enjoy the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie in 3D film format is a great place to start. Standard format versions of this movie can be seen anywhere, but the special IMAX 3D version can only be seen at participating IMAX theaters. IMAX has special screening rooms that put the movie in your face and all around you. Not only do you get the 3D experience but you also get the IMAX experience, an amazing all-inclusive panoramic spectacular!

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie is going to be the most action packed film in the franchise yet. The benefit of the IMAX is that most of these specialized theaters are set up with rotating seats and vibrations to help full immerse the crowd in what they are witnessing. Furthermore, IMAX theaters are completely black and images totally surround you on the dome shaped ceiling of the theater. Furthermore, IMAX theaters utilize state of the art sound and digital imaging to make the experience even more realistic.

You can always go to a normal theater and pay an extra couple bucks to watch the standard 3D version of the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows movie. Those who are lucky enough to live near one of the several IMAX theaters throughout North American should really take advantage of it. Both children and adults will leave the theater speechless.

In the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie the young wizard is finally prepared to face off with the evil Lord Voldemort. At one time this type of theater was used mostly to present panoramic views of scientific documentaries, as a part of children's museum or similar establishments. Now with the increase in 3D films, theaters like these have moved into the entertainment sector. The Deathly Hallows was the longest book in the series and it would be impossible to cover the entire thing in one film. The admission is slightly higher than what you would expect to pay to see a traditional 3D movie, but well worth it.

The amount of movies coming out in IMAX 3D film format continues to increase. The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie isn't the only film you can see in this special setting. Of course, Harry Potter is not the only 3D film out there, and some movie goers may be more interested in the new Tron Legacy movie. The IMAX theater is a wonderful place to bring people of all ages who you want to blow the socks off of.
