Holiday came out 1938. First interpretation of Philip Barry's play in reference to non-conformity is a pleasant movie. Johnny Case finds himself engaged to a millionaire's daughter and he must choose between a career in big business or living life as a holiday. 1938 version includes Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant among others.

The Believer is a brutal appraisal of a young Jewish man in N.Y.C. who decides to become a neo-Nazi skinhead. He struggles with the conflict between his thinking and his heritage. Gosling gives a outstanding performance as the young Jewish man which is loosely based on a true story. Cast includes Ryan Gosling, Summer Phoenix, Billy Zane, Theresa Russell, Glenn Fitzgerald and Ronald Guttman. (98 minutes, 2002)

Adios Amigo came out in 1975. Unusual western comedy, written, produced, and directed by Williamson, who as well plays a part in the movie along with con guy Pryor. There is no sex or violence in this benign film, but it just does not exactly work. Cast includes Fred Williamson, Richard Pryor, Thalmus Rasulala, James Brown, and Robert Phillips. Directed by Fred Williams.

The Sinister Urge from 1960. Committed cops Duncan and Moore set out to beat the "smut film racket," which is run by a flashy blonde. Illustrates with total assurance how photographs of chubby ladies clad in merely their underwear can be a major cause of adolescent wrongdoing. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson.

In 1999 Doug's First Movie from the megastar of TV's Doug is characterized in this bland, mechanical story, made exclusively for kids. Easy going preteen Doug attempts to show mercy to an animal in need collide with his aspiration to take his lady friend to the school dance. This movie was released as a direct-to-video production. Borderline was released in 1950. Odd thriller comedy in which L.A. cop Trevor tries to gather proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out favorably, although eventually slows down in absurdity. Burr makes a articulate scoundrel.The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts.

Nutcracker the Motion Picture came out in 1986. Much of this version of The Nutcracker, acted by the Pacific Norhtwest Ballet, is like a music video with rapid cutting and close-ups of legs, faces, and elbows. This is very annoying. However the Tchaikovsky music is, obviously, amazing, as are Maurice Sendak's sets and costumes. Cast includes Hugh Bigney, Vanessa Sharp, Patricia Barker, Wade Walthall, Russell Burnett, and the voice of Julie Harris.

Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Small town band hits it big, in an attempt to connect melodies from The Beatles' memorable album into some kind of a storyline. As to The Bee Gees performing ability, well let's just say that they are not the Beatles. Cast includes Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees, George Bums, Sandy Farina, and Steve Martin.

1997 was the year that The Leading Man came out. British backstage show romance in regards to an American film superstar who seduces a playwright's depressed spouse and his leading-woman mistress. McElhone is a phenomenal match for Redgrave in the flashback scenes. Cast includes Vanessa Redgrave, Natascha McElhone, Rupert Graves, Michael Kitcben, Alan Cox, Lena Headey, Amelia Bulhnore, Sarah Badel, Oliver Ford Davies, Katie Carr, John Sitting, Robert Hardy, Margaret Tyzack, and Phyllis Calvert.

Dracula's Daughter was made 1936. Continuance of the Lugosi classic portrays Holden as a vampire.Pichel adds drama as her spiteful manservant. Hillyer, usually a B-Western director, manages to instill this chiller with a moody, subtly sensual quality. Cast includes Gloria Holden, Otto Kruger, Marguerite Churchill, Irving Pichel, Edward Van Sloan, Nan Grey, and Hedda Basket.
