Believed to be the most expensive movie ever made in India, Ra One is one of the most keenly anticipated releases of 2011. This sci-fi movie is probably the most ambitious of all of Shah Rukh Khan's projects and is produced by Red Chillies, his home production. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun and Kareena play significant roles in the movie by Anubhav Sinha. First time in his acting career he plays the character of G One who is a super hero. The movie is made at par with international standards and has several special aspects.
Superhero avtar of Shah Rukh Khan was unveiled a few days back. Adorned with visual graphics, the poster was captivating. If reports are true, the costume in rubber silver of Shah Rukh Khan in the film cost around $1 million, which will help him to manage the risky action scenes. Shah Rukh Khan said that he cannot wear the costume in parties, but the Ra One t-shirts will be out shortly. The first look of Ra One resembled the pose of King Khan in Darde-E-Disco song from Om Shanti Om.
The plot of Ra One is about a computer expert based in Miami who is obsessed with computer games. SRK enacts the character of the computer expert who designs Ra One and G One with unusual powers. Ra One is the villain played by Arjun Rampal and G One is the good guy enacted by SRK. Kareena will be featured once again with Shah Rukh Khan in this film. Arjun Rampal was heard commenting that there is a good chemistry between him and Shah Rukh Khan.
The graphics in this SRK film has been designed by a group of professionals from Hollywood. He also said that the character was physically demanding and challenging. He had to undergo over three months of extremely strenuous physical training . The movie also has David Benullo, a Hollywood personality, who has written the script, and Akon, who has recorded a song for this SRK film. Akon was congratulated for the track he sang for the film under the composition of composer duo Vishal-Shekhar. Apart from that, the set of the film was visited by Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president.
