The Cataracs is often a Los Angeles based band that was formed inside the year 2003 by Singer Vine and Hollowell Dhar. They were joined by Devin Star Tailes later in their career. Devin was better recognized by her stage name 'Dev'. Sources say that The Cataracs noticed Dev when she produced an Amy Winehouse cover and uploaded it on her MySpace page.
